Go on a Funbelievable adventure at Funtopia! One of the biggest and best indoor play centres in Adelaide (and Australia for that matter), Funtopia has a seemingly endless supply of playgrounds for kids of all ages.

Bigger kids can try out the challenging walls at Climbing World and the ones who want to run free can explore Aussie-themed Playground World and its five levels of fun – including a mirror maze.

Baby World is for tots under 2, and Mr Spriggins Cafe, with barista-made coffee and healthy meals, will keep mum and dad happy too!

Wacky Warehouse

The Wacky Warehouse indoor playground (and cafe, hallelujah) encourages interactive play and physical development for kids of all ages.

With a focus on safety, children can make friends in a safe environment, while parents can relax with a cup of coffee and keep an eye out close by. The padded playground is great for school holiday fun and birthday parties, where friendly staff will even take care of the mess at the end of the day. There are memberships available if you plan on being a regular customer, and regular workshops for kids and parents.

BOUNCE

This one will certainly tire the kids out. The trampolines at BOUNCE have been making bouncy waves for a while now, with new locations continuing to pop up around the country.

In South Australia, you can BOUNCE in Greenacres or Marleston – with Greenacres being the bigger of the two. BOUNCE may be well-loved by the older kids, but both locations now cater to the little ones. Marleston has a Minibounce Zone, and Greenacres has a dedicated time to mini bouncers on weekdays.

With free jump areas, dodgeball, battle beam games and high ropes courses – the kids will sleep well after a day spent skybound here. Parents are welcome to join in the fun, too. If you’d rather encourage from the sidelines there is an onsite cafe with your name on it.

Greenacres & Marleston

Wizbang

For a unique venue full of fun for the whole family – book into Wizbang. This indoor play centre in Adelaide is filled to the brim with activities, so there is bound to be something for everyone to enjoy.

The older kids (parents included) might like a round of laser tag or the new free-roam virtual reality, while the whole family can play a game of neon mini golf together or hit up the arcade.

Younger ones will love the indoor playground, and for kids lucky enough to have a birthday party at Wizbang, prepare for some disco fun, with Just Dance projected onto a wall to get the party started.

As the name suggests – this is a world full of inflatable fun. Inflatable World is made up of obstacle courses, jumping castles, and a whole lot of bounce!

There is a dedicated safe area for kids under 5, and adults can join in the fun here too – for anyone game enough, that is. This is a great activity to get the kids active and playing with new friends as they make their way around the inflatables during a 2-hour session. 

Sitchu Tip: It's best to check ahead on socials for capacity limits during the school holidays when things get busy!

Imagination Kidz

Catering exclusively for good times for all, Imagination Kidz is all about having fun while being physically active and encouraging kids to live healthy lifestyles.

You can drop in for a casual visit with your little ones, or book ahead for a party. The best part? There is a cafe and free Wi-Fi on-site – so parents can enjoy a caffeine fix and catch up on work (or socials) while the kids run wild.

Crocs Playcentre

A play centre for all ages, Crocs in Kilburn is a whole lotta playground. These playgrounds have been specially built for different age groups, so no one has to miss out. There is a big playground for older kids, a section for walking toddlers, and a soft play area for babies, filled with sensory activities to keep them occupied.

As with all play centres, adult supervision is required at all times, but there is a Muffin Break onsite for parents and guardians. If you follow along on socials, you can catch the ‘Snappy Hour’ where entry is free for a certain time and day – all you have to do is take a screenshot on your phone and head on in!
