This Genius Subscription Service Delivers Fresh Meat and Seafood Straight to Your Door

By signing up to ButcherCrowd for a year, you can get a free selection of curated cuts in every box.

ButcherCrowd

Often find yourself craving restaurant-quality steak or wild-caught Canadian salmon from the comfort of your home? You’re in luck, because ButcherCrowd brings the highest quality meat and seafood straight to your door — and, they’re even throwing in a year’s worth of freebies to help beef up your meals.

Founded by brothers Damien and Rob Moffatt, ButcherCrowd is an Australian-owned meat and seafood subscription that allows you to build your own box from a selection of 26 different cuts. Or, you can choose to be surprised and delighted with a curated set.

Hailing from the Atherton Tablelands, the build-your-own meat subscription service was founded during the pandemic when the brothers’ friends struggled to access fresh meat as supply chains froze. The Moffats, who had a ready stream of fresh meat thanks to their family farm, divided up the meat at a fraction of the cost of mass-produced livestock to ensure everyone was well-fed.

ButcherCrowd

Driven by a shared passion for ethical farm practices and sustainably farmed seafood, Butcher Crowd was created with the goal of providing high-quality meat at a competitive price to supermarkets.

The company sources their meat and seafood from Australian farming and fishing families, strictly selected for their high quality and sustainable practices. All of the beef and lamb on offer is both grass-fed and grass-finished, the fish is wild-caught and the chicken and pork are pasture-raised and true free-range.

In addition to their commitment to ethical practices, you can rest assured all of Butcher Crowd’s meat and seafood is free from nasties, including antibiotics and hormones used to promote growth. But, just as importantly, all animal meat is humanely raised and handled, too.

How does ButcherCrowd’s meat delivery service work?

To get started, you’ll need to choose between a small or large curated box (from $139) or a custom box (from $159).

ButcherCrowd

Perfect for taking the guesswork out of your weekly grocery shop, Butcher Crowd’s curated boxes expose you to a rotation of different cuts each month. If you’d prefer to build your own box, you can choose from up to 40+ cuts of meat and customise it to your liking at any time.

While most food subscriptions can seem more expensive, Butcher Crowd’s boxes work out at around $35 each week, or $4.89 per meal. Not only will you have the pleasure of feasting on restaurant-quality meat that’s ethically sourced, but it’s just as cost-effective as shopping at your local supermarket

Once you’ve chosen your subscription, enter your email address and postcode then pick which date you’d like your box delivered. Shipping is free for all orders, regardless of how much you spend.

How to get free cuts with every box

If you sign up for ButcherCrowd’s newsletter, you’ll receive free selections in every box for the next 12 months, with no box quantity or frequency limit. You’ll have the option to choose between 26 cuts of premium beef, wild-caught seafood, chicken, or pork.

This offer is only accessible to new customers only, with no lock-in contracts, and the ability to pause, skip or cancel at any time. Subscribe to ButcherCrowd and claim your free cuts by entering your email address here.
