Hour of the Wolf
Earn your acting dues this month in Melbourne and unlock the Hour of the Wolf at Malthouse Theatre. An immersive theatre mystery building on the landmark success of Because The Night (2021), it ambitiously realises Australia's next chapter of large-scale immersive theatre. Hour of the Wolf introduces you to Hope Hill, a town that is yours to freely explore on the longest night of the year. Interweaving stories unravel the disturbing disappearances occurring between the hours of 3am and 4am. Choose which of the ten characters to follow, pick left or right at the end of every scene, and trace this night from different points of view. Everyone has their own truth in Hope Hill.

Luna Dark
Returning this Halloween is Luna Park's inaugural Luna Dark. Tame by day, terrifying by night, Melbourne’s biggest costume party is back for double the screams. It will show you a side to Luna Park you never knew existed. Hosted over 5 terrifying nights, and 2 (youngster-friendly) days, night sessions are set to feature two brand new, spine-tingling attractions (End of the Line train, anyone?), plenty of SFX make-up, an AR photo booth, live music, roving ghosts and ghouls, and plenty of tricks and treats. Enter, if you dare. Across five days this Halloween, Hawthorn's Lido Cinemas is bringing legendary horror back to the big screen. To celebrate the release of their new Halloween inspired song "Grim'', Open Kamodo (think Ocean Alley meets Red Hot Chilli Peppers) are throwing a Halloween themed gig at beloved live music venue The Gaso. Halloween Life Drawing at The Brunswick Green
There will be plenty of butcher paper, pencils, colored pencils, and charcoal provided for use at this Halloween themed life drawing session at The Brunswick Green. Take a seat in the cosy performance room and get set to draw a live model dressed in the most perfect Halloween fashion. Expect music and a cosy, moody, slightly spooky environment to have a drink and do some drawing. The session is two hours long with a 20 minute intermission to get drinks and have chats. Poses will range from 2 minutes to 20 with all skill levels welcome and no experience necessary.
