Best of all, they offer a heap of fun flavours from matcha to Earl Grey and they are all gluten-free!

Thé's intention in opening Hearthe was to create cakes using traditional Australian flavours and preserving measures - cakes designed specifically to withstand our warmer climate. The result is impeccable. Think Geraldton Wax Cheesecake and Paperbark Dacquoise. If you're after something savoury there are plenty of bites on the menu, including handmade pies, that can be enjoyed in the crisp interior of the cafe or al-fresco amongst Stanmore's Douglas Street.

If you’ve ever dreamt of having more than a single slice of Four Seasons’ exquisite cake in your possession, we have some excellent news. Head Pastry Chef Quentin Zerr has created a collection of cakes available to order and take home entitled ‘Art of Cake’ and each creation truly is an edible masterpiece. The cakes are classic in nature yet utilise beloved Australian flavours at every turn. Think Pavlova, Lemon Meringue Tart (topped with finger lime!) and Framboisier, amongst others. These handcrafted desserts are perfect for elevating your next dinner party or birthday celebration.

After travelling the world learning to master the cake-making craft, owner Orlando Sanpo opened the luxe shop in Darlinghurst. The store whips up gorgeous cakes, chocolates and over 100 flavours of cupcakes, including salted caramel, bacon and cheese, and lemon vodka – making their bakes some of the best cakes in Sydney.

Feel like a slice (or two) of France? Head to La Renaissance Patisserie and Café, whose cakes, tarts and of course, croquembouche, attract visitors from all over. In fact, they’re so incredible that La Renaissance was the first patisserie in the Southern Hemisphere to be admitted to Relais Desserts, the super prestigious organisation that only lets in the very best French pâtissiers.
