Fabbrica 

Good news, friends. If you and your pooch happen to find yourself in the CBD with a raging appetite, Fabbrica is ready to serve up the goods. During the week pop in for lunch and enjoy handmade pasts, sandwiches and soup or book in for dinner to taste your way through their more extensive dinner menu. Dishes include arancini, fried artichoke with salsa verde, burrata with peperonata and more. Your pup is welcome to join you dining outside but might have to wait until you get home for their feast.

The Grounds of Alexandria

With its signature relaxed, organic vibe, The Grounds of Alexandria is an all-in-one produce market, florist, café, restaurant, bar, and bakery. All linked by outdoor paths, it's one of our favourite places for weekend lunch dates with your pooch. Leashed dogs can accompany you into the outdoor seated garden area, or there is puppy parking and water bowls if you're just grabbing something on the go.

Next Door

Blurring the lines between café, restaurant and bar, Next Door has plenty of outdoor seating perfect for hosting you and your doggo. The brunch menu is modern Australian and pairs beautifully with either a wine or cocktail whilst the dinner menu is packed with sharable, seasonal dishes.

Annata

Elegant and innovative, Annata is the brainchild of Christian Blair, the former bartender behind Eau de Vie and Rockpool. Unsurprisingly, the drinks list is stellar with seasonal cocktails and over 70 wine varieties. Thirst-quenchers aside, this North Sydney restaurant’s garden lounge is pet-friendly, welcoming pups to join their parents for an incredible al fresco dining experience. Sunny in the summer and heated in winter, a meal at Annata is guaranteed to get tails wagging year-round.

Lord Raglan 

Lord Raglan is everything you want from a local. Swish interiors, local craft brews on tap, classic pub meals and, of course, your pup is welcome to dine with you inside or outside. If your pooch is extra well-behaved, they might even score a little treat from behind the bar. 

12 Henderson Road, Alexandria 

Bob Hawke Beer and Leisure Centre

An afternoon at the Bob Hawke Beer and Leisure Centre will fill your cup in more ways than one. Sip on some of the country's best beers, feast on 80s Chinese and enjoy good times with your pup by your side. There's also an outdoor area with doggos welcome everywhere bar the Lucky Prawn Bistro dining space.

The Australian Heritage Hotel 

The Australian Heritage Hotel in The Rocks is as dog-friendly as they come. Enjoy an extensive pizza menu (including kangaroo and crocodile toppings!) and over 140 Australian craft beers, all with your best bud in attendance. There are treats behind the bar for the well-behaved doggos and plenty of pats to be had.

The Vic on the Park

With a sweeping back deck, street art and its own basketball court, The Vic is probably the most dog-friendly pub in Sydney. Let your four-legged friend mingle while you soak up the sun and enjoy a craft beer and antipasto board. For something a little different, the dog shows and fundraisers are always a great time for both you and the little rascal. These guys also often host dog-friendly Santa photos at Christmas time so be sure to get in on that action!

Public House Petersham 

Let Public House Petersham's sunny beer garden set the scene to your next pup-friendly day out. Snack on wood-fired pizzas and pub classics to your heart's content. Bad weather? Dogs are welcome inside, too!

Yulli's Brews 

Yulli's Brews is the ultimate dog-friendly pub. Dogs are free to plonk themselves down in any area of the brewery and at any time of day. If you haven't yet had the pleasure of a taste, Yulli's brew some of the best beers in Australia alongside tasty vego bites so you're in for a treat. They host a jazz night of a Thursday evening which is an absolute ball but vibes (and doggo attendance) is highest on a Sunday. A great place to meet fellow dog lovers! 

Sitchu Tip: The rice lager is a must-try.

The Carrington

If you have spent the day wandering the colourful streets of Surry Hills and craving a delicious steak, The Carrington is the pub for you and the pooch. Dog owners can drink and dine alongside their furry friends who also have dedicated doggy dishes on the menu, including beef tartare.

A favourite amongst the North Beaches canine community, this renowned Merivale establishment has a winning combo of spectacular waterfront views, sprawling grounds and a cracking line-up of delicious dining options. The Newport is made up of multiple eateries like The Kiosk, The Shack, Seafood Market and Vinnie's Pizza that will keep you fuelled, and the alfresco-style venue is completely kid and dog-friendly.
