Game, Set, Feast: The Food Scene at the Australian Open 2025 is Seriously Next Level
Come for the tennis, stay for the food.
The Australian Open 2025 (AO) is upon us, and it's going to be an absolute hit. We don't just mean in the tennis department, though. One of our favourite aspects of the AO—aside from the sport, of course—is the food scene. You'll be hard pressed to pick between the tantalising offerings served up across the precinct, with many favourite household names returning alongside a variety of newcomers.
From fresh focaccias to mouth-watering burgers and Middle Eastern treats, Melbourne Park is serving ace after ace when it comes to delicious feasting, courtside.
The only question left to ask is: who are you going to let serve you first?
Mediterranean Meets Middle-Eastern in Garden Square
Garden Square will come to life with a burst of flavour and cultural variety this year at the Australian Open. There'll be a whole lot of new, with the four restaurants featured making their Australian Open debuts. And honestly, it may be our favourite year of feasting yet!
Entrecôte (yes, you read that correctly), will be serving up our all-time favourite: the viral French Mitraillette Baguette. Think the classic steak and frites, wrapped up in half a flaky baguette and drizzled with the to-die-for herb butter sauce. Entrecôte will also be frying its classic cheeseburger and frites. Name a better menu duo, we'll wait.
It doesn't stop there. Piccolo Panini Bar will be carbing you up with its authentic Italian paninis and dolce in its AO debut. Expect plenty of salami, mortadella, stracciatella, and panini bread with the perfect amount of crunch.
Ostro by Julia Busuttil Nishimura will be there give you nourishing fuel to power you through the day. She'll be crafting Maltese-inspired pastizzi and Mediterranean salads. A1 Bakery is also going to be in Garden Square to fix any of your sweet treat cravings with its Lebanese pastries on offer.
It's Better Over at the West
The western courts at the AO also have some food options to keep you satisfied while you're watching the game! If you're sticking true to your New Year's Resolution of eating healthy, Good Days is serving up Vietnamese salads that will keep you feeling fresh and with a full battery, despite the summer heat.
Alternatively, Tennessee Wingboys is there to get your hands dirty and your tastebuds buzzing. Dig into the Nashville-style fried chicken as you watch your favourite tennis players score left, right and centre.

This is what sweet-tooths' dreams are made of. M&M's Australia has announced a multi-year partnership with the Australian Open, naming M&M's as the Official Confectionery Partner. As a result, M&M's will be launching its first-ever Australian pop-up store at the Australian Open, providing the opportunity for tennis-goers to immerse themselves with the brand. Shop the confectionery, take pictures with the M&M's gang, collect merchandise, and shop the sweets, of course. Two brand new M&M's shades (pink and blue) have been made especially for the Australian Open, too! Now that's crunchy-chocolatey goodness.
