Don't Miss This French Feast in the Heart of the Aussie Bush

Part of Wildwood Kangaroo Valley's long lunch series, experience authentic French culture, cuisine and camaraderie against a stunning backdrop of the Australian countryside.

Wildwood Kangaroo Valley

This July, the Australian bush will be transformed into a lively French fête thanks to a long lunch feast hosted by Wildwood Kangaroo Valley

Cheekily dubbed Coq Fest, the unique event - held in celebration of Bastille Day - promises an authentic experience of French culture, cuisine, and camaraderie, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Australian countryside.

With a menu fit for a French aristocrat (thanks to creations served up by Michelin-starred and ex-Rockpool Chef Ilyes Mendi) it's the perfect way for Francophiles and foodies alike to enjoy a truly impressive and immersive culinary experience.

Taking place on Saturday, July 13  and Sunday, July 14 from midday to 4 pm, snap up your tickets before they sell out!

A Very Fine French Feast

The event will surely be one to remember, with a feast full of local produce from local farmers, and tasty wines and artisan beers on tap.

A delight for all the senses, guests can enjoy the sights, smells and flavours of open-fire cooking in the lush surrounds of Wildwood's rainforest and bush escarpment - all with a French twist.

Think French cocktails on arrival, with some classic Wildwood starters cooked on an open flame (to keep fans of the venue's Long Lunch series happy), followed by terrines, cheese boards and crudites with locally baked bread.

There will also be Gougeres with local, in-season truffles and a Comté custard, a Wildwood Coq au Vin with mashed potato and seasonal local vegetable gratin, as well as a delightful dessert spread including croque en bouche and macaron towers.

And, of course, local wines and beers will be served alongside the food for a truly indulgent experience.
