We might be biased but we’re going to say it anyway — Australia’s food scene couldn’t possibly get better. With a diverse array of landscapes, passionate producers and talented makers scattered across the country, we’re spoilt with top-tier, homegrown goodness. And no one knows how to celebrate this incredible food landscape more than Tasting Australia. Their 2025 festival program has just dropped so it’s time to whip out your brand-new calendars and pencil a few dates in.
Presented by Journey Beyond, the 2025 program will explore the theme of connection across 10 jam-packed days. With 150 events to choose from, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore the best South Australia has to offer. And it’s not just local chefs and makers smitten with the state’s incredible produce. The 2025 program will see global talent descend including Chiara Pavan (Italy), Monica Berg (UK), Andy Allen (NSW), Lachlan Cowill (TAS), Danielle Alvarez (NSW) and Lennox Hastie (NSW), alongside local powerhouses Justin James, Jake Kellie, Sharon Romeo and Duncan Welgemond.

Tasting Australia Adelaide: Food Experiences $100+
Tasting Australia by Train - Africola x Parwana
A once-in-a-lifetime experience, this journey will take place aboard the iconic The Ghan's dining and bar carriages for a 10-hour food safari. You'll feast on delights from Townsville stalwart and Afghan kitchen, Parwana, alongside seasonal South African star Africola. As you travel across diverse South Australian landscapes, you'll be treated to breakfast by Parwana, a wine masterclass by Stacey-Lee Edwards and a long lunch by Welgemoed of Africola. Finish with afternoon cocktails, courtesy of Never Never gin distillery.

Two of Sydney's favourite restaurants are teaming up for a spread you don't want to miss. Partners in life, O Tama Carey and Mat Lindsay rarely find themself in the kitchen together. Don't miss this immense sharing of talent and stories and, of course, incredible food. The menu? Well, it's a secret — but a very delicious one, we're sure.

A unique fusion of the three Fleming brothers' chosen mediums — food, wood and glass — this dinner is a treat for all the senses. Snag a ticket to catch live glass blowing, whilst dining on custom-made recycled timber tables and chairs made exclusively for the night. You'll also drink and dine from handmade wood and glass pieces whilst enjoying dishes infused with native ingredients. The best part? Each piece will be available for purchase on the night!

Make - Indigenous Ingredients 101 with Sharon Winsor
